In Official Gazette no. 877 of 28.09.2023, Government Decision no. 900/2023 was published, which modifies the minimum gross national basic salary.
Thus, starting from October 1st, 2023, the guaranteed basic minimum gross wage will be 3,300 lei per month, instead of 3,000 lei, the current wage. The new wage corresponds to an hourly wage of 19.960 lei, considering a standard working schedule averaging 165.333 hours per month.
This change does not apply to the agricultural sector and the food industry. For these sectors, the minimum wage remains at 3,000 lei, while for the construction sector, it remains at 4,000 lei per month.
Attention! Where there are individual employment contracts with the minimum gross wage, additional wage modification documents must be drafted and submitted to Revisal within 20 working days. The period is calculated starting from October 1st, 2023.
